Similar to Eucalyptus globulus, the radiata species also has a camphoraceous and stimulating aroma, with slightly less 1,8 cineole, making it less harsh and sweeter in scent. It is most commonly used for respiratory issues (as are many oxides). Use in a steam inhalation, diffuser, or inhaler to prevent illness during the cold and flu season. Eucalyptus helps break down mucus while being cooling and cleansing for the respiratory system. It is also beneficial to rub (diluted) into sore muscles and it blends well with other essential oils.
